Today is the day!! More than 3,700 startups coming from 115 countries, have been reduced to the final 100 most promising startups around the globe. This year, our competition had huge presence from overseas, amounting to a total of 62% international projects. The most represented include USA, Colombia, Israel, India, UK, Germany, France, Colombia and Mexico.

From these, each sector will crown a winner, leaving the remaining 10 startups to move onto the final round, where only one startup will receive the title of South Summit Winner Madrid 2019, kickstarting their presence in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Other prizes awarded also include the The most innovative, The most scalable and The best team.

During the previous edition, Amadix rose above the rest, with their innovative and invasive tests to track early stages of cancer for the colon, lungs and pancreas. Other featured winning startups include, Wallbox, winner in 2017, who is predicted to reach in 2019 17M€ in revenue, as well as Spotahome, winner in 2016, that has already raised 65M$ in investment and has presence in 65 countries.
